The original broadcast of the episodes ended with a dramatic fanfare in which a loud vibration of a muted trumpet is synchronized to the animation of the lion roaring. The fanfare is only heard on two other MGM Television series, National Velvet (1960) and The Islanders (1960). Reruns of the series used a different ending on the same backdrop, which started with the title zooming in from the center as it was spoken by an announcer, before it dissolved to a still of the MGM Television logo as the announcer says "A Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Television presentation".
