The automobile is a Baker Electric "Stanhope" model, the smallest of their electric cars.
Early in the film Herbert Anderson's character referred to the "new music" he liked to play as "jass J-A-S-S". This was not a misheard mistake made by the bumbling character, the spelling and pronunciation that are familiar now was first heard around 1916.
This film failed at the box office, resulting in a loss to MGM of $501,000 ($4.97M in 2018) according to studio records.
