Amelia Wilhelmy suffered from hemiplegia when she filmed the arrest scene. Her friend, director Ismael Rodríguez, hired her because no one wanted to give her work due to her condition. The scene was filmed in a way that her health problem was not noticeable and that she was comfortable. It was her last performance of her life.
