This was one of the early days dramas of newspapermen. It had a profound effect on me. As a 10 year old child it was fun to watch and sent me on to a journalism career. Harold Huber was a good actor. The show was a forerunner of improved television dramas. You have to remember this was in the day of l-i-v-e TV. Huber made many movies as a heavy in the 30s and 40s. I couldn't wait to see these shows on Saturdays. My recollection is it appeared from either 12 noon or 12:30 and 30 minutes. I never missed. I'd come in from playing outside just to watch this program. My playmates always wondered why I stopped around this time. I'm certain if kine scopes had been kept they would be sorely outdated today but television was just beginning. Our house had the only TV set on our block in Newport News, Va.
