Near the end, when Robert Young is preparing to leave the wagon, Marguerite Chapman goes into the wagon and gets a pistol, pouch of ammunition, blanket, and hat. When he leaves, the hat is nowhere to be seen. In the next scene, he is wearing the hat as he leads the burro across the dessert.
Near the end, when Robert Young leaves the wagon and takes the burro and goes out to catch the bad guy on foot, he has no hat. Later when he catches up to him, he has found a hat somehow out in the desert!
The close-up of the bad guy in the canyon shows his lips white and bloated from thirst, but when shown from a distance his lips are normal.
When Robert Young is in canyon chasing bad guy he touches a cholla cactus. The cholla is remarkable for the ease with which it sheds its spines and he should have been covered in them.
