~3/4th into movie, there is a bar fight with Dave Robles & Ed Bannister with very obvious doubles. Toward the end of the fight, the Dave Robles double has been rolling all over the floor & his jacket is very dusty but at the end of the fight when Anthony Quinn is again shown, his jacket looks almost new, clean & pressed, except for the tear in the right shoulder.
In the beginning when Dave shoots Richey, Dave fires first and hits him . When Richey fires, he holds the gun high, and it can be clearly seen that the shot goes high and astray. Yet, Dave is wounded. The doctor says it's a "scratch." However, given where the wound is it couldn't be a scratch. Dave's body would have had to be turned from Richey, which it wasn't. The bullet would have penetrated the body.
The player piano in the saloon plays "Lili Marleen." That song wasn't written until 1937.
