It's a grab-and-go lifestyle when you're a part of the most buzzed about couple in the biz! Ben Affleck and his new girlfriend, Saturday Night Live producer Lindsay Shookus, had all eyes on them when they grabbed some iced coffees to go at Starbucks near Central Park in New York City on Wednesday. Previously the two have been spotted out and about in Los Angeles, where Ben lives. This is the first time they've been seen together as a couple in the City That Never Sleeps. A source tells E! News that the duo were talking and walking happily together on the bustling streets of the Big Apple around 2:30 p.m. The two were outfitted in casual ensembles with Ben, donning a low-key t-shirt and jeans. How did Kiss Me Deadly come to be restored? The real question should be, how did filmdom lose track of its original ending in the first place? Savant uncovers evidence that may explain when, and why, United Artists mutilated the finish of Robert Aldrich’s apocalyptic film noir.
(Note: The images below with text can be enlarged for reading, just click on them.)
Before home video the final home for Hollywood films was Television. Robert Aldrich’s 1955 Kiss Me Deadly never saw a theatrical reissue, and it dropped out of major TV visibility in 1962. I saw the documentation in United Artists’ legal folder on the film. To secure capital to launch more movies, Robert Aldrich sold all of his ‘Associates and Aldrich’ pictures back to UA after their original releases were concluded. More papers showed Kiss Me Deadly being included in at least two TV syndication packages, and then each time pointedly removed.

What better way to ring in the new year than with a loved one?
Nicole Kidman surprised Keith Urban on stage as the singer headlined Jack Daniel's Music City Midnight: New Year's Eve in Nashville, Tennessee on Saturday. The father of two put on an incredible tribute to artists lost in 2016, including Prince, David Bowie, Merle Haggard, Leonard Cohen and Glenn Frey -- with Kidman joining her husband on stage and dancing in the background.

The same night, Justin Bieber performed poolside at Fontainebleau Miami Beach, taking the stage right before the clock struck 12 to perform his hit songs, "Sorry," "What Do U Mean," and "Boyfriend," before DJs Marshmello and Skrillex joined the singer onstage for "Where Are U Now." As for who was in attendance for Bieber's New Year's performance? That would be Johnny Manziel, Jeremy Piven, Ansel Elgort, Lala Anthony, and Jonathan Cheban.

It’s night and a ship moves in the water through a dark curtain of fog. We see George Raft as Captain Johnny Angel on the bridge peering out into the pea soup as another vessel looms ahead suddenly in the darkness, abandoned and drifting in the water. Raft sounds the foghorn but there’s no response. He boards the derelict with several of his crew to search for clues as to what happened. They go below to the captain’s quarters and finds it wrecked. A picture lies on a desk in a shattered frame. Raft picks it up and we see it is a picture of him as a younger man standing next to an older one. A crew member enters the cabin and says there is blood below, and water in the hold, but no signs of life.

Jeanne Parr may be recognized nowadays for being The Good Wife and Sex and the City actor Chris Noth's mother, but the 92-year-old who died last Friday made a name for herself decades ago as a trailblazing journalist, model, author, and so much more. After modeling and working on local news stations, the Madison, Wisconsin-native became one of the first female news correspondents for CBS. And it all started with a blooper. While doing the weather on a local news station in New Haven, Connecticut, Parr couldn't find the state of Arkansas on a map, according to Wisconsin State Journal.

Shall we sing the praises of actress Marie Windsor? A self--assessed Queen of the Cheapies, she was anything but cheap, gracing some of the better films noirs and delivering some of the most deliciously acidic dialogue ever heard on screen. The woman doesn't just have bedroom eyes, she has bedroom everything, and a wicked smile to go with it.

Now that "Mad Men" is winding down to its last 11 episodes, so are the plots and story action. Not much happens, let's face it. Lately, this program has been all about character study. But, hey, isn't "Mad Men" supposed to be about the cutthroat, hedonist, hurlyburly lives of the glam ad boys who can't resist being naughty in the City that Never Sleeps? Join the fierce 'Mad Men' chat going on right now in our message boards -Break- In recent years I think "Mad Men" lost its biggest opportunity when Peggy (Elisabeth Moss) broke free to work for a rival ad firm, then too-quickly capitulated and returned dutifully like whipped dog to the fold. Exclusive: Will Les Moonves have to install a party line? One day after getting a call from NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio urging the CBS boss to keep Late Show in the City That Never Sleeps after David Letterman steps down next year, I’ve learned that Moonves got a call today from La Mayor Eric Garcetti and Film Czar Ken Ziffren imploring him to bring the late-night franchise to the West Coast. The three spoke this afternoon, I’m told. Related: NYC Mayor Called Les Moonves Directly To Keep Post-Letterman ‘Late Show’ In Big Apple Of course, this isn’t the first time Garcetti has tried to persuade Moonves to put the City of Angels in his late-night future. On the day Letterman announced that he would be retiring in 2015, the SAG-aftra card-carrying mayor wrote to the CBS chief on the matter of Letterman’s successor and where that show would be located.

Here we go: Glee has officially set the wheels in motion for relocating the entire show to New York City.
While it's only been a few weeks since reports of the sea change surfaced, several main characters revealed their intent to move to the Big Apple upon graduating from McKinley High. Blaine hopes to get into Nyada (the New York Academy of the Dramatic Arts), Sam sees it as the best place to fulfill his dream of becoming a model, and Artie – well, for now, he just has a generic "college" excuse.

Lil Wayne was born in New Orleans and maintains an affinity for the Big Easy, but he is not too fond of the Big Apple. When the rapper dissed New York City, his comments angered one politician so much that he demanded an apology from the Ymcmb prodigy.
Lil Wayne, Dwayne Michael Carter, expressed his disdain for NYC during an interview with MTV News, saying, "Flat out: I don't like New York." Weezy spoke with MTV while promoting his new sneaker line with Supra in Las Vegas.
The rapper had touched down in the Big Apple to hit the stage with Nicki Minaj, who performed a free show at the Roseland Ballroom on Aug. 14, a make-up set for her missed Summer Jam appearance back in June.
It's a bit surprising, given that Nicki Minaj and Busta Rhymes, two of the biggest stars on Wayne's label, are from New York.

Firstly, let me reiterate how difficult this list was for me, as a life-long Simpsons fan, to compile. Of course we know that the Simpsons hasn’t always been at full strength (some of the later series just didn’t do it for me in terms of hilarity or poignancy) and it’s common knowledge that ratings have been slipping steadily since around series ten or eleven; although I do feel that The Simpsons Movie marked a welcomed return to form for the series when it was released in 2007.

New York City saw the continuation of a steep decline under the mayorship of John Lindsay, who reigned over the city from 1966-1973. Teachers went on strike, riots were fought and mounds of garbage filled the city streets.
Turns out he had some sanitation problems in his personal life, too.
Florence Henderson, most famous for her run as Carol Brady on the campy TV classic, "The Brady Bunch," reveals in her new memoir that she had a one-night stand with the Mayor while they were both in Beverly Hills. Henderson was married to Ira Bernstein at the time.
"I was lonely. I knew it wasn't the right thing to do. So, what did I do? I did it," she writes in "Life Is Not A Stage," the NY Daily News reports. And, following a night's sleep at home, she found out the hard way about the City that Never Sleeps.

Fox The cast of “Glee.”
They made it! They competed at Nationals in New York and walked off, just shy of competing with the top 10 in Glee’s second-season finale, “New York.”
Nothing can compare to the “City That Never Sleeps,” especially when it doesn’t serve only as a background, but rather the star in the firmament of teenage dreams.
New York calls out to artists and serves as inspiration to troubled minds, who’ve been stuck on singing about cups and mattresses.

A time capsule that does a colorful job in capturing the sights and sounds of the underbelly of 1980s Times Square, Streetwalkin’ also stars Antonio Fargas (Huggy Bear from TV’s Starsky and Hutch...

Many directors would love to be considered the preeminent auteur of their area. Ben Affleck is not one of those people. Gone Baby Gone restored his reputation and got him critical waves and The Town ended up outperforming expectations to be the weekend's number one movie. Nonetheless, in pre-release interviews he was sheepish about his relationship to the city. Asked whether he'd keep returning, he hedged: "I don't know. I'm nervous. I don't want to be pigeonholed as Johnny Boston filmmaker." Still, he knew what was at stake: "New York doesn't so much care about a New York movie or a New York book or New York story. But Boston knows. Boston knows if you're from there."
Boston certainly does: one reason for Affleck's nervousness might be the burden of waiting for his hometown's verdict. Peter Keogh said it "might be the best movie set in...
