This little musical starring Eddie Bracken and Cass Daley, is a harmless, but entertaining rendezvous. Eddie plays the same underdog he does in all of his early films for Paramount, and Cass Daley ploughs through with her usual stamina. The story is simple, but entertaining. Virginia Welles is a capable match, and is certainly stunning to look at. She sings the lovely "What Am I Gonna Do About You". Now see, this movie features Cass Daley pretty heavily, so your tolerance of this movie depends entirely on whether or not you can handle her humor. Personally speaking, I think she is the best thing about this movie. She sings "I'm As Ready As I'll Ever Be" and "Mama Eu Quero/My Mammy". Over all, a lovely way to spend an afternoon.
