In the mid 1940s, through his agency [ The Theatrical Circus of Fez ], Abdulwahed Chaoui was commissioned the Moroccan production of "La Septième Porte" by French director André Zwoboda. He tries to convince the Director to cast his daughter as a character. To the Director's delight, Touria showed great promise and was hired, at only 13.
