"Lux Radio Theater" broadcast a 60 minute radio adaptation of the movie on
November 26, 1945 with Alan Ladd and William Demarest reprising their film roles.
Alan Ladd would later be one of the attendees at his co-star and friend Gail Russell's funeral.
One of over 700 Paramount Productions, filmed between 1929 and 1949, which were sold to MCA/Universal in 1958 for television distribution, and have been owned and controlled by Universal ever since. Its initial telecasts took place in Boston Monday 13 October 1958 on WBZ (Channel 4) and in Seattle Thursday 16 October 1958 on KIRO (Channel 7); it first aired in Chicago Sunday 8 March 1959 on WBBM (Channel 2), in Phoenix 25 May 1959 on KVAR (Channel 12) and in Omaha Saturday 13 Jun 1959 on KETV (Channel 7. It first aired in both Grand Rapids and Milwaukee 23 October 1959 on WOOD (Channel 8) and WITI (Channel 6) and by Denver 10 November 1959 on KBTV (Channel 9); but it did not find its way to New York City until 2 April 1960 on WCBS (Channel 2) and to Detroit 21 April 1960 on WJBK (Channel 2).
