When Susie and Bill stall for time by performing in front of Queen Elizabeth et al., they start off side by side. Mid-tune, the camera cuts to a different shot made out to be in real time, and Bill skips merrily from behind the time travel ball which is behind Susie.
When Tommy is ordered to stand for Captain Raleigh he is so startled that, as he stands, he drops the chicken leg he is eating. It clearly misses the table and must surely have landed on the floor. Yet, in the next shot which is made out to be in real time, as Tommy cheekily sits back down - the chicken leg is already back in his hand without him having picked it up off the floor.
When the time ball first goes into space we see a clear view of the altimeter, labeled 'Height in ten thousand miles' and numbered from 1 to 10. Under the number 10 is written '1 million' (which the professor quotes) instead of the correct 100,000 miles (10x10,000).
