Armando Calvo had become a successful leading man by the time El Escándalo was made, and he would be even more popular after this film. It is a curiosity watching him perform together with his father, Juan Calvo (Juan Domènech), who plays the role of Gutiérrez, the man who will reveal the truth about Fabián Conde's past.
