For a musical that relies heavily on the power of words, one of the most poignant Hamilton moments comes - surprisingly - when nothing is said at all. At the end of the show (now available to stream on Disney+), the full cast performs the moving number "Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story" and Alexander Hamilton's wife Eliza (played by Phillipa Soo) delivers a final monologue. The beloved Schulyer sister explains how she devoted her life to Alexander's legacy: she raised funds for the Washington Monument, she established an orphanage, and she compiled Alexander's letters and writings for his biography.
"Whether that thing she's seeing is Hamilton, whether that thing she's seeing is heaven, whether that thing she's seeing is the world now. I think those are all valid and all fair."
Eliza delivers her emotional parting line, "I can't wait to see you again. It's only a matter of time,...

“Weird Al” Yankovic marked the arrival of the filmed performance of Hamilton on Disney+ by piecing together a new video for his “Hamilton Polka.”
Weird Al released his polka medley of Hamilton tracks back in 2018 as part of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s monthly “Hamildrops” series. With his trusty accordion in hand, Yankovic condensed the three-hour musical into a five-minute medley featuring jaunty renditions of “Alexander Hamilton,” “My Shot,” “You’ll Be Back,” “Wait for It,” “The Room Where It Happens” and the “The Schuyler Sisters.”

The room where it happened is now in your living room, as long as you subscribe to Disney +, where a filmed version of the Pulitzer Prize-winning Hamilton is currently streaming. Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Broadway smash about Alexander Hamilton, one of America’s founding fathers, became nearly impossible to see after celebrities and New York elites drove up ticket prices. It’s indeed worthy of high praise, though, and high ticket prices, as evidenced by the life-affirming events that take place over the course of the 2 hour, 45 minute run time. But Disney + is where it belongs, at least for now.
