Talkie debut in a feature film for Blanche Sweet. She made three talkies in 1930 and retired from the screen but returned for some bits parts several decades later.
Although the onscreen credits for the play lists both Philip Dunning and Frances Dunning as the authors, only Philip is credited as the author in the Broadway playbill and in the published book of the play.
Filmed in 1929, but not released until 1930.
The film was also issued in a silent version, where Fred Niblo Jr. was probably credited onscreen for "titles," but no details are known. He was not credited in the sound version.
