A song from the film, "Livin' in the Sunlight, Lovin' in the Moonlight", was later recorded by Tiny Tim. This recording was used in the pilot episode for "SpongeBob SquarePants", whose home network, Nickelodeon, is a sister company to the film's original distributor, Paramount Pictures.
One of over 700 Paramount Productions, filmed between 1929 and 1949, which were sold to MCA/Universal in 1958 for television distribution, and have been owned and controlled by Universal ever since; its earliest documented telecast took place in Denver Thursday 6 August 1959 on KBTV (Channel 9).
