- Steve Leyton: [to Martin Canavan as both are laughing] Remember the last time you tore up my contract and gave me a new one?
- Steve Leyton: [still laughing] Remember what I told you to do with it?
- Steve Leyton: [laughing even louder] Well, if you're not too tired, do it again!
- [they both continue to laugh hysterically]
- Steve Leyton: [amazed as Johnson downs mug after mug of beer] Where do you store it all?
- Eddie Johnson: Got my big hoes on.
- Steve Leyton: Mike, ever had a woman make a fool out of you?
- Mike Allegretti: Sure!
- Steve Leyton: What happened?
- Mike Allegretti: Four boys and one girl.
- Cyrus Jeffrey: You're not going to marry my niece?
- Steve Leyton: Not while I'm sane!
- Tony Gateson: [laughs]
- Cyrus Jeffrey: Tony, this isn't true, is it?
- Tony Gateson: Well, it's just as true as a lot of other things that gentleman of the press has been writing about me.
- Tony Gateson: [Holding the phone away and faking that she's talking to Steve Leyton] Oh, Steviekin, Mr. Canavan on the phone. Oh, darling. I couldn't tell him to do that.
- Tony Gateson: [Back on the phone] I'm sorry, Mr. Canavan. Steviekins doesn't seem to want to talk to you right now. Goodbye.
- Mrs. Flaherty: [Visiting Tony in jail and seeing Steve in the adjoining cell] Why, this must be one of those public enemies.
- Steve Leyton: [Walking up to his cell bars in front of her] Hiya, tubby. How's for a little kiss, huh? Boo!
- [She then screams and hurries away]
- Martin J. Canavan: [On his intercom] Take Steve Leyton off the payroll.
- Intercom voice: How about the bonus?
- Martin J. Canavan: What bonus? No! Cancel it.
- Judge Hart: [after visitors ask about sending food to Tony] I don't care what you send. As long as you don't go smellin' up the place with none of that French perfume.
- Count Andre de Guyon: [With others visiting Tony in jail] Antoinette, how is it possible that they'd put you in so terrible a place like this?
- Tony Gateson: Heh, it's not so bad, Andre. As a matter of fact, it reminds me of your chateau - especially the plumbing.
