Duke Juri Alekeyevich Dolgorikov didn't have a daughter. He only had a son Mikhail Jurevich Kolgorokov.

Rasin's younger brother was called Frol, also known as Frolka, not Filka as said in the movie.
It is said in the opening card that the first scene is set in 1667. However in this scene the song "Slav'sya" from the opera "A Life for the Czar" by Mikhail Glinka Glinka is sang. The opera was released in 1836.
