- The stooges are running the local drugstore and mix up a potion that a desperate businessman decides to sell as scotch. The stooges impersonate Scotsmen at party to fool the prospective buyer. Their usual antics disrupt the party, ending when a barrel of their "scotch" explodes and floods the whole house.—Mitch Shapiro <mshapiro@a.crl.com>
- Stooges are carpenters putting in a door at a liquor store, which is a front for liquor sales during Prohibition. During their work, skits include all three pointing to the right in different spots (They're in a circle), which causes confusion and slaps. Larry and Curley cut a board for Moe, but also cut the table he's standing on, he falls (and really breaks three ribs). Soon they are asked to watch the store, and proceed to make a concoction that turns into liquor. The salesman promises them big bucks if they can make more. They get invited to a formal dinner in the liquor bosses house and proceed to ruin the party. Billy Gilbert stars a a singer at the party, they toss fruits into his mouth as he sings. During dinner Curley tries to impress a woman with hot dog roll tricks, by sticking forks in each and making them dance. Moe takes the forked rolls and pokes Curley in the eyes with them (a new gag). When the time comes to tap their keg of liquor and earn their keep, it blows up, flooding the apartment.—Charley Duffy <cduffynyc@aol.com>
