The "Flying Mouse 1934" is one of Leonard Maltin's favorite Silly Symphonies cartoon short.
The 2001 and 2006 DVD and 2011 Blu-ray release of "Dumbo" contains "The Flying Mouse" short on the DVD and Blu-ray. However in the 2011 DVD release of Dumbo, it excluded "The Flying Mouse" cartoon short.
The unnamed mouse boy and his mother mouse from "The Flying Mouse" 1934 make their cameo appearance as spectators in the 1936 Mickey Mouse cartoon short "Mickey's Polo Team".
