Midget Gustav is none other than Harry Earles (born Kurt Schneider), who changed his name later to Harry Doll. He appeared in both versions of The Unholy Three (1925, silent and 1930, talkie), in Tod Browning's Freaks (1932) and The Wizard of Oz (1939, uncredited).
