Billy Bevan and Madeleine Hurlock are heirs to a very successful dress salon..... provided they are not married. They agree they are not. This displeases their spouses, who take menial jobs at the place and wind up helping to disrupt the salon's fashion show. Although Billy and Madeleine were doing a good job of it without their help.
Bevan was Sennett's leading utility comic at this point, and Miss Hurlock his leading vamp, so they wound up in a lot of movies together. Bevan is given more setting-up exposure as he goes from running a horse-drawn carriage trying to cadge a meal, while Miss Hurlock simply gets married. But they both have a lot to do dealing with customers, staff, and mannequins at the shop in this typically funny Sennett two-reeler.
