There have been several versions of Mark Twain’s classic teen characters Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn on screens both big and small. But while they’ve mostly maintained Twain’s 19th century adventure seekers as boys, Paramount is thinking differently, picking up Andrew Burg’s Huck And Tom.While the plot is being kept buried in the swamps for now, the Heat Vision Blog dug up that it’ll re-imagine the duo as adults, and upping the stakes a la Snow White And The Huntsman. Oh, and they’ll deal with “supernatural elements.” So might we see Sawyer and Finn facing down ghosts? Werewolves? Monsters?
