Decent conceptual story, but horrible execution in every way. The writing and directing was so bad and amateurish, you'd wonder if either went to film school. Cinematography was washed out with terrible camera angles, and even worse editing. One example - a guy on a ATV is speeding past the camera's frame, then all of a sudden it's flipped over with the rider under it. Really? A 5th grade drama class wouldn't give us such amateur nonsense. The score was your typical constant non-stop annoying and unfitting B-film score. The screenplay was riddled with plot and technical issues with too much filler and very little substance. The 93 min runtime dragged on forever - even with somewhat decent pacing, mostly from these long dragged out and unnecessary scenes. With proper editing, you'd be lucky to present a cohesive and coherent story no longer than 60 mins. The directing was clearly a sloppy mess, and you can tell the actors tried their best with zero cast direction. The only stand-out performance was the very talented, sassy and funny little Juliet Rusche, who pretty much carried the entire film, and the only reason I'm giving this a very generous 3/10.

I don't know where to start! The film, the acting especially, camera work just amateur hour and that said is an insult to amateur actors!
How does something like this even get funding?!
This has to be the WORST film I have ever had the misfortune to watch. I only carried on watching to the end to see how it finished.
I would love the writer and director to respond and explain why they thought this should of been filmed and not just thrown in the trash!
There just isn't one positive to take from this awful production.

Wow talk about a lame movie. Horrible in every way possible! You couldn't even feel sympathy for the two kids because they're acting was just that bad.
If you intend on giving this movie a shot then be prepared to watch your IQ drop drastically.

I think literal lobotomy victims could make a better movie, anyone who rated it a 10/10 needs mental support. Absolute dookie. The acting is awful, camera work is awful, everything is awful in this film, I could write a better script without fingers. The cast is garbage and the storyline is trash, there is absolutely no character development, the murders are weak, the fighting is better depicted from a Nickelodeon show where they don't even hit eachother. Do not watch this is absolutely a brain dead film production. If you want a good movie this is probably the farthest thing from that. Find better movies.

I love this film. Solid writing and directing by Ritchie Greer.
Production value is top notch. Jason London and Corbin Bernsen have standout performances. Daniel De Weldon steals the show as antagonist Wesley. Incredible actor, incredible performance.
A weekend of war games turns sour. Action-packed, never a dull moment. Enjoy!

Everyone has different opinions when it comes to art, but without artists our world would have no color. Art allows us to see ourselves and each other in ways that we might not otherwise be able to.
I'm a bit of a film buff. I especially like watching movies that are a little lesser known, while being mindful of the performances given by its cast.
That being said, I really like this movie but I might have liked some of the performances even more, especially Daniel DeWeldon's.
Realizing that I might be laying it on too thick, and although he has a unique approach to the different roles that he takes on, he is possibly reminiscent of Michael Eklund's performances in the sense where you just don't immediately know if you're going to go down the route of protagonist or antagonist due to his uncommonly versatile range.
This film has a fairly unique concept and is well laid out for us to enjoy. I'm looking forward to the director and cast's future projects.

I really enjoyed Weekend Warriors, especially the story arc on Scottie being bullied so often it got him really down and upset. I remember I saw a lot of bullying when I worked as a substitute teacher in NJ. In fact there was a Spanish teacher who was picking on one of the students. I had to bring it to the attention of the principle, I did and luckily it stopped. So I really connected with the story. Daniel DeWeldon was phenomenal as the antagonist. And I loved seeing Jason London in the role of the caring fun uncle! Also let's not forget Corbin Bernsen's too! Check out this movie!

It's a weekend war game with paintball that will lead Joey to embark his nephew and his niece on this adventure not recommended for children. But the protagonists will take their game seriously and that's when everything changes with Wesley who is on edge. A chase then begins in the woods to eliminate the children who witnessed a murder. A scenario well carried in particular by the great presence of Daniel De Weldon (Wesley).

Thrilling cast of performers including Actor Studio member Danel de Weldon as the villain Wesley. This film keeps you engaged and on the edge of your seat! If you are looking for something lively to watch, I recommend Weekend Warriors.
