Finishing watching Better Call Saul made me feel an emptiness that is very difficult to describe, since I had assumed that I would never see something as good as it again. How wrong I was. Breaking Bad Jr is a near-perfect reimagining of the Breaking Bad universe. It perfectly represents what the series represented at the time, improves it and expands it to horizons that I could never have imagined. The staging is amazing, as is the photography. The performances seemed impeccable to me, and I think they perfectly reflect everything that Breaking Bad could not be. All those ideas that Vince Gilighan and his team couldn't quite come up with or develop are implemented in very clever ways here. I keep hallucinating. I never expected to see something this good.
