With the title and 8.6 rating I expected a good family Christmas show. Turned it off in the first 3 minutes after swearing including an F-bomb. Too bad this was not in the content advisory.
What I loved most about this film was the relationship between Michael and Yolanda.
I feel anyone could watch this film, and relate to this relationship whither it be with a parent, grandparent, or with someone you love and respect.
Their conversations draw you in and make you feel connected to their lives.
Leaves you wanting to know more of their background story.

Not at all what I expected given the title. Opening music had me hooked. Acting and writing spot on. Timely.

This is an incredible film. There were a lot of themes and characters that resonated with me personally given my own upbringing and job experiences. The overall plot and conclusion are refreshingly human. This isn't a film that follows the traditional patterns and tropes of visual storytelling. By the end of it, I was left to think about how the film made me feel, which is the greatest achievement that any film can make.

This movie throws an unexpected twist at you. I don't want to give much away, but I will say it is a must see. It also gives you a glimpse of the differences between social classes. Overall, sweet movie.

Christmas movies often have this feel good connotation to them. Even if they're sad they typically end on a good note. Christmas Eve is different in this respect. The move is moving and uplifting. It makes you feel a certain way throughout but the ending... that's where it gets you in the feels. It's a real ending and that's what I like about it. Overall, the writing is solid and the cinematography really captures the essence of the season. The soundtrack is on another level and super original. Definitely worth watching, especially with all this talk of essential workers and how most people look down on them. I think you'll find some unlikely perspective in this short film.

Loved watching this! I actually watched it for the first time during the summer time haha, but it was such a great movie to ring in the holidays coming. I loved the bike scenes and it was awesome to see so many iconic shots of New York. Great journey of emotions throughout!
