Everything about Enhanced was middle of the road. The acting was generally okay, nothing monumental and occasionally lackluster. The special effects were basic, occasionally toeing the line into campy, but generally acceptable for a movie of this budget. The writing/plot was probably the weakest link, and the fight scenes probably the strongest, but neither really moved into the extremes of terrible or excellent. The plot was generally derivative with just barely enough originality to distinguish it from similar films.
If you are content to entertain yourself with some decent fight scenes without high expectations for the story - if you don't have something better to watch - Enhanced isn't bad. It just isn't particularly good, either.

First of all they didn't have such ridiculous overkill on the music! Too much, all the time. Absurd.
Also, when you have super powers, why in the world are you in a fist fight? Silly beyond childishness! How do you have a concept that you forget you based everything on? If you can throw people across the room with your eyes, why bother hitting them with your fists. Ridiculous.
The concept was actually fairly decent, and had adults been making the film, it would have been better.

I just wanted to say that this film is bad and blame it not only on the tired formulaic plot, the low budget and the obvious lack of care about the quality of the production, but also on the actors. Alanna Bale has a face that ensures she will get roles, even if in things like this, but she isn't a good actress. She could try to become one, but I don't think she wants to go further than the teeny woman that emotes like a spoiled child in shows like Killjoys or Enhanced.
Back to the film, imagine that the reason superhumans exist is one being extracted from a separate dimension, but they don't show how that happened, or how it escaped, just that some time after, it is hunting the mutants for his own purposes and everybody forgot he existed?! There is no chemistry between any of the characters, there are numerous plot holes, the acting is bad, the special effects not worth mentioning. Just avoid this.

Ok this is not great but for a cheap production it was ok, i've seen alot worse.
Initially I was lured in to watch the 2019 movie "Enhanced" from writers James Mark, Matthew Nayman and Peter Van Horne given the movie's cover/poster, which definitely looked interesting. Turns out that the cover actually oversold the movie quite a bit, as the contents of the movie didn't turn out to be all that interesting.
The storyline told in "Enhanced" was pretty straight forward, but the pacing of the movie and the events that transpired throughout the course of the movie weren't just cutting it. The movie was lacking excitement and adrenaline, and with those things out of the equation, you are left with a rather mundane movie. Sure, it was watchable, but "Enhanced" was far from being an enjoyable or overly entertaining movie.
I wasn't familiar with the actresses and actors on the cast list, which is something I enjoy. And I will say that the acting in the movie was definitely adequate, but it was bearing witness to the fact that the script and plot was weak and mundane. So the performers were restricted in their performances.
Visually, then I will say that "Enhanced" was adequate. It wasn't top of the line special effects and CGI that will blow you away, but it was good for a movie such as this.
Ultimately, I wasn't entertained much by this movie, yet I managed to sit through it to the end. My rating of "Enhanced" lands on a three out of ten stars. There are far better sci-fi action movies out there, if you enjoy such things.

For anyone with an interest in people with extraordinary abilities, this movie may appeal..its well acted, especially by the lead actress who brings a gravitas and conviction to her role as well as doing some great fight scenes...If you like movies like Xmen, give this one a try.. It had my interest from the get go and the lead actress is a powerhouse.. fun and very watchable flick

The movie is below average. The plot is very basic and underdeveloped, the acting is very average, the special effects are meh, the ending tries to leave open questions but ends up being just "ok, well...".
Don't waste your time.

I rate a movie for the enjoyment I received; rather than quality I perceived. The boy vs girl fight scene was my favorite part. The world-building was well done; and the progression of the story moved at a satisfying pace. Seen on Tubi, the free streaming site; which has some major studio films, some indies; and now, live TV.

It had a pretty good premise and was enjoyable for the first 30 minutes or so. Unfortunately, the bad script and over reliance on fight scenes ultimately doomed it. If they had concentrated more on the story and plot, instead of the "action", it might have actually been pretty good.
So I stumbled upon this on prime video and thought it looked interesting but as we watched this it looked familiar and recognized the connection to Kill Order. James Marks produced both and Chris Mark plays David in both films blue eyed and all! Kill Order is a high action crazy fight seen movie! Chris mark kicks butt! Definitely watch it the fight scenes are great ! It explains a lot of strange things in this movie ! They did do a few things I am not a fan of though but not spoiling it.

Some of the pace and acting could have been much better. Story was kind of "let's get as much stuff in, and leave heaps out" to attain the 1 hour 39 minute run time. This could have been chopped down to about 80 minutes by leaving out "filler" scenes. The "enhanced serial killer" was hardly touched upon, we just have to take their word for it. A bit of a mash, but was entertaining enough. Don't be surprised if this is a pilot movie to a series. Worth a watch.

The cast is mostly Eastern European, so there is not much dialogue. I admire that what little there is, they really worked on sounding perfectly American. Points for effort.
The leading lady has all the personality of a tractor trailer truck driver. Her fashion sense of boots, jeans, sweater, and heavy jacket in every scene makes you wonder what her special power is. The Army guy that seems to be infatuated with her gives up his career to help her and she treats him like trash.
The supervillain is a totally boring douche. I am not sure what the actor was aiming for, but talking and walking like a robot is silly and laughable. The fight scenes are to show how invulnerable the supervillain is, so everyone punches him in the face, and he barely reacts. The fact that you can clearly see most of the punches missing by several inches dillutes the WOW effect.
This story could have been a lot better with a leading lady that had some charisma, and a super-villain that was menacing in a scary way. Every time he told someone "You have something I need," I hoped they would fart in his face.

The least you could have done get the uniform and rank correct. Your captain is wearing brigadier general star on his lapel. The 4th id badge is the wrong direction. There is no name tag. A captain s rank is 2 bars connected together. Whatever flunky you had doing this needs to be fired. Next time consult with someone who knows the military at least a little. You do not call a sergeant sir.
OMG this has so much of the tv show in it. Just condensed into 90 mins.
Acting is not bad but over all poor movie. Pass if you can.

The idea of the movie was good enough but the actors showed the poor acting. They even dont know how to speak their dialogues. And also some of its action scenes were kind of cheap. But many were good too.

The German titles of movies .. gotta love or hate them I reckon. They kind of give you an impression what this is about. Which I reckon ... well enhanced could have been something different, but of course it isn't. Now the movie is quite easy to follow to say the least. You have to be into Science Fiction ... if you are you'll be more than entertained.
Having said, you can also just call this predictable and not really good ... it is a b-movie ... so you have to have some low budget love! Or at least it helps if you want to like this. Actors are ok considering the genre and the budget. Effects - the same! Not something to get too excited about, but more than decent. Other low budget movies have way more issues in that category.

Not sad I watched it, the leads are pretty good and plot simple and satisfying, but everything else is a bit up and down.
This was a remarkably good movie. A bit of mystery, a couple of great lead characters (Anna & George), enough drama to keep you engaged, great fighting scenes, a plot that was executed very well and enhanced humans. All the elements are here.
If you enjoy super-powered humans in a tightly written plot exhibiting their skills in non-contrived do or die scenarios - this is a must watch. It certainly beats some of those high-budget, cutesy superhero films that are essentially written for children.
I found Alanna Bale's portrayal of Anna to be the lynchpin of the film. The moment Anna was introduced, the film took off. She held the entirety of the film together in a superb way (the acting, the action, the drama, the tension and even that sense of humanity). I also quite liked the character and the way she portrayed her - it felt very natural.
This is a hidden gem of a film and an easy 8 rating.

Although the story was interesting and defiantly had potential, it felt rushed. The acting was nothing special and the dialog was ill timed and predictable. I feel like this movie was produced to be a television pilot. The movie length fits a two hour tv spot if you were to add commercials and there were noticeable cuts between scenes that made you think you were about to go to a commercial break.

Moved way too slow. Gaps in plot. Very unrealistic fight / action scenes. Example: at end when soldier had a reasonably powerful weapon, he only fires one or two shots instead of just emptying the magazine. Dialogue stilted.
