This show would probably not be appreciated by audiences outside of the UK perhaps, as the comedy is based around a team of employees at a cyber security government agency based in a town in southern England.
The writing is funny, nuanced, and weird. The cast of characters are lovely, offbeat and awkward. Nick Mohammed who writes the show also stars as one of the main characters. He nails it with a likeable and naive employee desperate to make friends and impress. Add in the addition of the unexpected comedy talent of David Swimmer as the brusk all American NSA agent and you've got some funny stuff and some great physical comedy too.
It didn't really grab me until the second to third episode and then I was hooked. Season 2 carried on the enjoyment and laughs and I'm definitely invested for a third season. Fingers crossed.
Worth a watch.
