Hall Pass

Nica Noelle adopts the open-marriage concept of a "hall pass" to Gay Cinema with this hermetic yet accessible little feature, sporting just a nuclear four-man cast.

JD Phoenix is attracted to muscular Blaze Austin (a relative newcomer to the biz) when they work out at the gym together, and gets permission from his lover of a year's standing Kory Houston to move outside their ongoing relationship to have sex by permission, i.e., the granting of the euphemistic Hall Pass. All Kory demands is that JD report back and do to him afterward whatever transpired sexually between Austin and himself. (One flaw is the chintzy set decoration for the purported gym scenes, extremely low-budget.)

In an intertwined screenplay, Kory gets humped by his tutor Michael DelRay while JD is amusing himself. And in a rather fanciful coincidence, it turns out that DelRay is Austin's lover all the while.

Nica mixes and matches the foursome to yield the requisite four sex scenes for her Icon Male website's streaming fans, and the acting is okay in developing these one-dimensional characters. Not ranking in her best work category, but well-performed nonetheless.
