While filming a scene director and writer Tirrell Coleman unfortunately fainted, and hit the back of his head on pavement. Although he was rushed to the nearest hospital he was released several hours later due to a mild injury with no concussion, or any other symptoms.
During early stages of writing, young actress Kelsey Nevaeh Ford's character was originally written to be a male character with a tiny bit of difference. Instead of the Sydney character being a direct sibling to the Jacob character, it was supposed to be a cousin hailing from the same origins. Coincidentally the original name for that character was Noah.
Originally actors Brandon A. Cueto-Yenty and Jason Quintanilla were to reprise their roles as main leads, and were in the process of filming in early 2020, but due to scheduling conflicts, and a bit of creative differences, production was on hiatus for two years. Although Brandon A. Cueto-Yenty's character still revolves around the plot of the film while sustaining early footage of his scenes that were filmed in early 2020, Jason Quintanilla's character only makes a very small appearance.
First draft of the screenplay was written back in 2017.
