Jessica Marais was offered the role of Charlotte but bowed out of no acting for remainder of 2018 to look after her health. The role was passed onto Melissa George.
Melissa George was in a relationship with Steve Bastoni back in mid the 90s. She was also in an on-screen love interest with Don Hany in Heartbeat (2016).
