Definitely a different ghost story in Tamil cinema but the content was revealed just before the climax and most parts of the movie was like similar movies in the same genre, but the way every scene is linked at the end was nice and the climax was still okay but overall, it could've been much much better with more good music & bgm and a somewhat good cinematography by showing Ooty in a different picture, at least they should've followed the lead the debuting directors like Narain of Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru who showed us Ooty in a different angle and mesmerized us.
Iruttu promised a lot with the trailer. Unfortunately disappointing experience in theatres. Reasons being a not so strong storyline. The flashback scenes weren't gripping and the romance scenes in the movie were unwanted. Only a few jump scares were good in the movie. The movie would have been a lot better if the run time was cut short.
Film talks about an unexplored theme and justfies to it!
Not many unwanted scenes, However the act by Sundar C was lazy, felt it should have been done by someone else. Engaging screenplay let down by a poor CG and a weak climax.
One time watch!

A peaceful scenic town in the hills - its 12 noon - suddenly the bright sky becomes pitch dark as if its 12 midnight n some men r ruthlessly murdered - the cop handling the case burns himself to death - another cop is sent to solve the case n weird things start happening to his family - so whats going on - whos behind the gruesome killings - is it a man or is it a ghost - #Iruttu is a decent horror thriller - the computer graphics r disappointing - running time should be reduced by 25 minutes - rating 2.5/5.

Cinematography and audio part of the film is brilliant. A different story line and a unique flashback.
