There are many online platforms in which you get out of the box , new league series like TVF, Netflix but slowly and steadily MX player is joining the party and providing tough competition to OTT in india. Amazon prime except inside edge has remained dull.
MX player original Thinkistan is one such series which is breaking clutter and going deep in advertising world. Those who are associated with sales or marketing will find no frames and will live every second of the series as if it is happening for real. Others will find real gap between bharat and india and how two different world co exists.
Amazing start cast and real acting making this series even more watchable. Entire star cast including mandira bedi looks in their character. Mandira bedi after DDLJ & Shanti , delivers performance of lifetime. She looks real boss. Both lead actors Naveen & Reddy are excellent. Supporting star cast are real heroes of this series.
This is real advertising world coming to your screen without any deviations. One must watch. Strongly recommended for all sales marketing and advertising world professionals.
Looking forward to next season of Thikistan.

Everything is great except it ends so fast......pls pls make more than 50 episodes....plsssssss
# after (23X25) mins of story telling.. director can't create a proper ending of this season !!
# Toooo long... Unnecessary story .. feeling like " Saah vi kavi bahu thi " types.
# acting is good.
# how come the "Bhutia" things came in last episode!!

The show apparently revolves around the struggles of not being eloquent in English in a metropolitan city like Mumbai and the biases that come with it. But soon the story shifts to a number of unwanted and clearly unnecessary subplots which act as catalysts to ruin the show as well as the theme. For no apparent reason the story is set in the 1990s which by the way is left to the audience's own imagination for the first few episodes. The only thing which resonates with the 90s is Hema's baggy pants. The lacklustre scripting, inefficient editing and an infinity of other flaws cannot be ignored or uplifted by the sactisfactory acting. The only possible pro settles on the idea of 'English being more than just other language' but the idea is neither unique nor was the presentation of the show around it.
Give this show a miss if you don't want to 'think' about all the time you did simply waste (even if you have plenty).

Everything is good about the series. It starts little slow but as you go forward you experience everything about advertising how it started in 90s and how it has moved forward. Friendship, love, small town mindset, mind blowing work culture, etc. you experience everything in this series

Natasha (Meghna) is a foreign-educated junior who speaks with an accent that she just can't help. She is bullied mercilessly and hounded into resigning by Daniel (Paul Varghese) and Sagar (Ninad), a couple of senior art directors.

Congratulations to N Padma for this spectacular work. I can't stop drooling over the entire crew of Thinkistaan. Felt like I was part of all this while not being a part of this. That the power of the show. It will addict you to it. Everything about the show is extraordinary. Maybe it's recency bias, but this trumps all web series ever created on this planet. This one is in "Suit's" league with an Indian touch.

The show is based in the late 90s when advertising was its peak. The concept and the narration are quite good.
All the promises that were made in S01, all the beautiful writing direction acting are gone in 02.
Why.
When I was first season I thought of it becoming next pitchers. But all is gone in second.
But please keep up good work looking forward

Set in the 90s, the series will remind you of the 90s ads that defined Indian pop culture (under changed names of course). Sadly, that's the only redeeming quality of this show. They miss the 90s vibe completely. The show is definitely not engrossing or engaging enough.

A much needed antidote to all the superhero based shows currently on television. My hat is off ladies, well done!
