Now that we have seen 1917 a look at this series is much worth our while. This is a tribute to a real Portuguese hero who fought a real war. The battle scenes are a bit hygienic but even with meager means I think they are not bad at all. Then there is the life after the war. The medals are much too heavy to carry around...

A masterpiece of a film that tells a gripping story of courage, sacrifice, and patriotism. Set against the backdrop of war, the movie captures the struggles and triumphs of a Portuguese soldier as he fights for his country.

So, this "series" has too many flaws, bad acting, not even a series it's more like a soap opera, the wardrobe, the environment, the not so logical special effects, and it goes on and on... I feel like this is some kind of parody about World War I and not in a good way. They could at least filmed this in some muddy trench and payed a guy with a hose to simulate some rain or something... It's not that difficult guys... You didn't even tried. Just Avoid this, and don't lose your time with it.
