A documentary series on the machines of war, in particular the machines of the 20th century. Covers such diverse topics as tanks, bombs, espionage equipment, nuclear weapons and aircraft.
Good, but not great, documentary. Does cover some topics and equipment that you won't find in most military documentaries, making it edifying for those of us that have a fairly good military knowledge. However, the content feels quite flat. There's a reason these topics are rarely covered...
It also doesn't help that there's no particular order to the episodes. Each episode is independent of the others so there's no sense of evolution through research and development.
