This movie reminded me why I love movies so much. Why I appreciate so much the thought and effort and passion put into making them and how much I love to put that same passion in my own. These filmmakers could have put a paper bag in front of the screen and I would have been like wow, this right here is art.
Jake and Jack is like no film I've ever seen. It's ambitiously sinple and yet so layered and intricate. I enjoyed every single second from start to finish. I laughed, I got emotional, I got excited, i was on the edge of my seat and I smiled so very much.
One of my favorite movies of all time for so many reasons. Very revolutionary to me as a Detroit native filmmaker. Thank you to everyone who had a hand in creating this.
