I was pleasantly surprised to see this pop up on Netflix and Quickly started watching. My happiness waned as I watched because the humor is incredibly stale and dated, like something from a old style burlesque show or a early 70's naughty sketch comedy movie. A cartoon like this wouldn't be made in the U.S., not because it is too risque, but because it is childish to the point of being offensive while simultaneously being marketed directly to adults. These jokes are little different than the Ambiguously Gay Duo from a generation ago. Bulging crotches and gay stereotypes are things I've outgrown. As much as I want to like a show about drag queen superheroes, I'd rather not have my intelligence insulted.

Has some good/funny bits but really not that entertaining.
Weird storylines that lose their way frequently. Odd. Just odd.

I found "Super Drags" to be quite funny & very tongue & cheek. It's light-hearted and nothing too serious. If you're looking for high moral values then this cartoon series is deffo not for you.
There is nothing offensive about the show unless you are extremely prude-ish which in that case you probably wouldn't even be interested in an adult cartoon about drag queens.
Just horribly written and cringe-inducingly unfunny. It's also very actively promoting a very regressive and arguably problematic picture of gay people, and of drag. Within the first few minutes of the first episode one of the drag queens grabs the crotch of an unconscious man that she KNOWS would not have consented, and then lets a terrorist go after he tried to murder a bunch of people because he was handsome. I'm not an easily offended person and it's not like I was traumatized by any of that, but ffs you can only go to that sort of length if it's actually in support of something really, really funny. To have it pop up somewhere that is so absolutely devoid of laughs really just highlights how gross it is.
To the people who made this show: you're better than this. If you're not better than this, please step aside and leave this stuff to someone who is.

I think people are taking this too serious and that's why they rate it low. It's supposed to hit those stereotypes and be tongue in cheek. Not my favorite animation style but it's cute and entertaining. A good adult cartoon.

I am a big Drag Race fan and even listen to the multiple podcasts from the contestants and judges but THIS..THIS show is one of the worst things I have ever seen. I knew it was going to be bad (like so bad that it's good bad), but not this bad! HOLY MOLY, I wish I had never endured the first 20+ minutes of the pilot episode because I could have used that time to remove my finger nails with a chisel instead. The jokes are crude and immature and tasteless, the characters are flat and made up of stereotypes in lieu of a personality and the plot is messy and inconsistent. Please do not make the same mistake I did and put yourself through this show.

I really wanted to like this but it was just bad. We pushed through 2 episodes thinking it would get better and turned it off midway episode 3.
It tried too hard, and didn't come across funny genuinely, ironically or funny.

Tired jokes, bad writing, waste of time. Humor was as dry as the bag of pasta i bought from Safeway. Stereotypical, unfunny.

I'm a lover of magical girls and cartoons in general. This show delivered on both in spades. Transformation sequences, music, and even an amazing big finale that I am still reeling from and in love with.
This show was unapologetically flamboyant, hilarious, and a good time. I really hope this gets a season 2 and Netflix doesn't cave in to the negativity! I really loved this and we don't get enough magical girl shows! This is something I've never seen before with elements of a genre I love and it fit together amazingly.
I'm confused by the people upset that this offered no morals. It's an adult cartoon. What is it you feel you still need to learn from a cartoon? Besides, this had several moral episodes so I don't know what you even mean. (Self confidence, dont judge a book by its cover, etc.)
My advice to you would be don't take this seriously and remember it's a fun *cartoon* and not reality meant for people old enough to know the difference.
Also, consider turning on the english subtitles if you want to see some of the jokes that didn't make it into the English voice version. For example, one character adored anime/Japanese/etc originally, but I didn't hear many of their references in the English version.
I ended up turning the Portuguese voices on, but I imagine both versions are funny in their own way.

The original version in Portuguese is full of easter eggs and good jokes.
We should not watch with the expectation that it is politically correct. The series is mostly ironic and full of poking jokes, like many Drag queens. I guess it bothers and annoys us because it is a mirror of our own society. I liked the show a lot.

This show just falls back on the idea that being gay is funny, which makes the show unentertaining and unfunny.

This is voiced over in English and done so by famous American drag queens from drag race. It's super camp and hilarious. It clearly states no one under 16 is to watch it and I can see why, but that's why I love it. Superhero drag queens unite!

I cant think of a good thing to say about this series.
.The animation is as bad asTtotal Drama Island .It steals its plot structure from shows like The Powerpuff Girls and Sailor Moon .All the jokes all play on the idea that being gay is inhearintly funny inherently to the point fo being insulting .Even if it is a comady and a parody of the LGBT community, all its jokes full flat and either either just offensive or boring to the point of being offensive .The voice acting is grating and just terrible .Lastly any good intentions or morals shown within this seires are done so badly that they arnt worth taking note of.
I would really damand that this be removed from Netfilx, as they should be ashamed of it.

The cartoon should never have been aired. Its a bad mess of a cartoon. Childish jokes. Unentertaining storyline. Waste of air time.

This is an ok show. It tackles legit issues in the LGBT community. For that I applaud the creators. However, the delivery of jokes and various plot devices could have been done better (not saying I could do better as I've not tried to create such a show). It's campy, and some like that a lot. I can only handle so much before I cringe. It's very in your face to the point of almost being rude. Being mean and sassy isn't a personality. This is the general humor of the show. In your face, and unapologetic. Good for them, but this show definitely isn't for everyone.

It's meant to be a send up... it's hilarious. It's great to be able to laugh at ourselves. But it isn't for everyone so don't watch it if it isn't your thing.

Where. Do I. Begin?
Oh well how about the only 10 minutes of the first episode I pained myself to watch. Let's start:
A bus full of gays being driven by a homophobic terrorist tries to kill himself and all the gays by driving off a cliff. Wow. PULSE much? Real good guys. Once again over the top gays proving we have no room to demand respect. Moving on.
So one of the over the top "heroes" dives down to save this terrorist, which ok seems like the best thing to do despite him being a terrorist, we're not stooping to his level... oh no, but when IT sees the terrorists big "bulge" what does IT do? What does it do while the terrorist is unconscious? Molests him, straight grabs the cartoon dick and balls. I get this is a portrayal of a terrorist but this is a display of molestation/sexual harassment. Moving on to my final issue before I had had enough and literally tuned out, let's talk about what happens next.
This "hero" then takes the mask off the terrorist and sees that this cartoon figure is apparently super attractive and developed a crush enough to LET HIM GO!
So cool be a sexy terrorist and you get off (and keep your immature puns to yourself).
ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING SHOW.

Going in with an open mind and heart yearning for some sassy, funny, LGBT comedy. Absolutely disappointed. It's extremely disturbing and hard to watch. Made me wanna claw my eyes out. My partner agrees with me.
If it's drama and content you are looking for, do not watch this cartoon and trash it later. You are looking a the wrong place from a start.
Now, if you a looking for a light and fun time and want to have a giggle.....this show is hilarious.
I had a great time watching it and had some good laughs. Very brave and risky move for the producers and to Nextflix! Congrats.

I was so excited when I heard about this show. I'm extremely disappointed. This show reinforces the worst gay stereotypes and in turn is bad and dangerous for our community.
