I loved the first 3 seasons of this show. It was funny, clever and random. The dynamics between characters worked very well. I enjoy Justin Roilands style of absurd comedy and have been a fan of his characters. However, I understand the decision to let him go and don't blame the show for doing it. However, the complete rejection of his style ruins elements of the show I really enjoyed. Korvo simply doesn't seem like the same character anymore, which in effect has shifted terrys role and character. I only made it 5 episodes into season 4 before I just lost interest in the show.
It feels like they tried to hard to be witty with it without considering how the audience would respond to it. It is unfortunate that people are review bombing this show, but don't look past the fact that many don't like how this was approached. I also watch Rick and Morty, I think the Rick replacement has done a fantastic job so far, the Morty replacement needs some work, but it at least doesn't change the character and I believe it will improve. I really wish Solar Opposites would have taken this approach.
