Good actors but Story line is poor from the starting it's show that the journalist are shooting live raid with the police ,later they interrogate 2 person in the asylum before the police in interrogate them.

The story was quite different than any other Bengali horror film. The cinematography, location was excellent. But, the script was too complicated.

With Chupkotha, Bengali movie enters into the elite list amongst horror movie genre. Be it the cinematography, the location, the crisp storyline and good acting and direction.
The storyline starts with the discovery of a mentally ill couple hiding out in their own house. We come to know that they have mysteriously lost their daughter in the hills of Kurseong near 'Gomes house', whose owner is missing for past 20 years. From then on the movie takes up supernatural vibes, with a phone that recieves messages and calls without having a sim, an abandoned house where sometimes lights can be seen and children's cry can be heard.
The overall atmosphere is of mystery and suspense. A must watch for horror movie buffs.
