Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj has often been disrespectfully referenced to as the "Irresponsible" son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Countless attempts were made in the past to malign his character and disregard his heroic deeds. " Swarajya Rakshak Sambhaji " is a commendable and an honest attempt to portray the true version of Sambhaji Maharaj's life. The entire cast, headed by Dr. Amol Kolhe (as Sambhaji Maharaj) and Shantanu Moghe (as Shivaji Maharaj), has done an outstanding job of blending seamlessly into character. The direction and cinematography of this show is beyond perfect. The background score definitely deserves a special mention as the series would not have been complete without it. To sum it up, the makers of this TV series have left no stone unturned to make sure that they do justice to the life of a great Maratha king by getting their facts right, and bring out the truth in the form of this spectacle of a TV series.

Instead of reviewing serial Sambhaji it is better to comment on this website. None of the websites give full cast of any serial. While English pictures note the name of actor playing role of an unnamed waiter in a restaurant, we are shy of giving name of actors playing important role. Here names of Ashtapradhan not given. A big SHAME.
