The film wasn't great but same old ......but the music we had to watch with subtitles just so we could see what they were saying really off putting !!

A woman has a secret new life away from an abusive killer man. She has his kid. But her Mother lets it slip and he's after her. Meanwhile she has a new love. When the ex takes her kid she's in a dilemma since she faked her death.
The kid looks old enough not to get in a car with someone he doesn't know. It's a moderately watchable Lifetime style thriller. Especially when the kid tries to run away from the dad. The cast is okay. The heroine is quite believable, bad guy looks bad, the good guy looks good. And the ending is alright.

Loud music plays throughout the entire movie and you can barely hear the actors speaking. The sound is way off in this movie. Very distracting.

This isn't a review of the film, but a comment on one aspect of it.
Whoever was responsible for the sound needs to go back to film school. It was very difficult trying to hear what anyone was saying for most of the film : almost every line sounded like it was being delivered by someone with a mouth full of cotton wool, a bunged-up noise, and a bucket on their head (worst culprit was main villain Gino Anthony Pesi). And that was even before the awful music started DROWNING EVERYTHING OUT.
If you do ever watch this film, activate the subtitles before you start.

I was going to book a hearing test but after reading the reviews realized that this was the worst sound track ever. I don't think the sound guy was a sound guy.🙉
This movie is so bad, they had to change the name on Netflix to Hidden in Plain Sight to trick people into watching it.

The plot is totally predictable and it's obviously a low-budget thriller, but I still found it thoroughly entertaining. Perfect for a late-night guilty pleasure. The sound had problems and parts of the movie were definitely laughable, but it is what it is. Just what I wanted. And the acting wasn't half bad.

Great plot, but not a good way to approach or succeed in it.
Besides the predictable plot, the sound was terrible. The music was louder than the actors. I had a hard time even with subtitles.
I liked where the storyline was heading, but the approach was just ridiculously bad...

Low production thriller similar to Sleeping with the Enemy. Storyline is unbelievable like a lot of made-for-tv movies, but I actually thought this one was a lot of fun. Moved quickly and I thought the lead actress did a really great job! The main guy/ villain was great too. Some of the other actors were not as believable and the writing was definitely not great, but it's a made-for-tv movie so I gave it some slack.
The sound was absolutely the worst part of this movie. You sometimes can't hear what some of these characters are saying which was a huge turn-off. But other than that, I really enjoyed it. Get a pint of ice-cream and just indulge in some bad thriller drama!

This movie made me laugh so hard. I loved it 😅😂 you have clues as to how poor quality it is at the beginning. Note that "Anna's" mother is so dumb and clueless she seems to have early onset dementia .
The fun really begins though when Nick comes back on the scene. Literally every reaction of every person is totally illogical. The motel front counter lady also seems to suffer from dementia sadly and has no understanding of any situation she's put in. A scene where the mother who goes into the police station to report her son missing and in the hands a known killer but just can't bring herself to report it because, how will all this reflect upon her? Also this is filmed in a world with no 911 service where everyone must solve their own problems themselves. Such fun. All three stars were for the unintentional comedy.

Like the others said, it's soooo bad. The acting just horrendous and the story itself was just genuine crap!
This film should be taught in every film school as what NOT to do when making a film.
1. The plot is played-out and predictable. 2. The hair and wardrobe is atrocious on every "actor," especially the wigs for the main character in the flashback sequences. 3. The acting is horrendous and overdone. Soap opera-esque without the talent. 4. The Score is way too loud for normal people to actually want to sit through this garbage, hence me watching 20 minutes and then realising it's not going to get better. I fast-forwarded to see if I was correct, and I was. 5. The writing is the worst I think I've ever seen (and I WORK in film.) The opening scene was a major tip-off at how terrible this film would be. Always go with your gut.
Save your time and hearing and avoid watching this film. And that one 10/10 that is up here? That's clearly someone who has money invested in this rubbish film's way of hoping to recoup any costs wasted on this joke of a film.

I'm a fan of the genre and this one is really well done. Very strong performances by the two leads.
