Dwayne Johnson’s SmackDown promo with Cody Rhodes a few days back was intriguing as hell. Johnson made it clear that he wanted only one thing from Rhodes: his soul. The Rock told him that he needed an answer from Rhodes when they met again at the Elimination Chamber. Johnson has made another move towards his ‘agenda’ during the SmackDown episode on Friday.

The episode saw Rhodes being given many luxuries so that he could make a decision in favor of the Final Boss. At the end of the episode, The Rock himself appeared via satellite and gifted Rhodes a customized F-150 Raptor truck. He then made some comments about Rhodes’ late father, probably to emotionally manipulate Rhodes into taking the offer.

“Hell’s Kitchen” returns after the Thanksgiving holiday with its ninth episode of Season 22, titled “More Bang for Your Buck,” which airs November 30 on Fox. During the hour, the remaining members from the Red Team and the Blue Team will try to impress Gordon Ramsay during dinner service, but one chef-testant earns the host’s wrath when she unintentionally brings him cold beef Wellington. Martha’s Vineyard v. DeSantis, which is executive produced by Trevor Noah, is set to premiere next month on MSNBC and Peacock. The doc, produced and directed by the Oscar-nominated duo David Heilbroner and Kate Davis (The Newburgh Sting, Traffic Stop), takes a look at the incident in September 2022 when the DeSantis administration rounded up 49 Venezuelan asylum seekers in San Antonio, Texas, and flew them by private plane to Massachusetts. The migrants have said that they were promised shelter, work, food and money in the form of a card once they arrived, but that turned out not to be true.

Jered Barclay, the veteran stage and screen actor who performed in vaudeville and had voiceover roles in TV’s Smurfs and Transformers, has died. He was 91.

Barclay died Saturday in North Hollywood from Mds Leukemia, actress Myra Turley, his longtime friend with whom he performed in the two-person play A Tantalizing, directed by Harvey Perr, announced.

Also a director, photojournalist and acting coach, Barclay began his nine-decade career in 1934 at age 3, performing in vaudeville with Judy Garland, Shirley Temple and Sammy Davis Jr. At 6, he became a radio actor and at 12 traveled with the Clyde Beatty Circus before his theatrical debut at 14.
