If you liked Total Drama Island, you're not going to like this. It seems to be made less for the teens and kids who used to watch TDI, and more for younger kids who never even watched TDI before. It would've been better if they had made a runoff of the kids in middle or high school rather than daycare; that way it may've kept the same flow. Also fo some reason they added Jude from 6Teen? I guess that's becuase they couldn't really fit Chris in as a character and keep the same theme, so they just toke Jude from 6Teen since it's voiced by the same guy. It's really all over the place.

As a huge fan of TDI as a kid, it hurts to see it come to this. Even if you watch the show from the view of just a new show, it's not good. It kind of makes me feel uncomfortable.

Seriously? Who came up with this show? We want the old Total Drama back, we haven't had a season in 4 years.

This is show is dumb Trash, but its ironic that the black guy, the one in charge of the daycare is named "Chef." and wounds up running a daycare. I feel sorry for Chef because he has to put with those snotty kids. My mom doesn't like when this Total DramaRama is on. She says its Dumb Trash and all colorful words.

I personally find this show to be, very annoying and unnecessary. This also fully ruined the Total Drama franchise for me.
This show has a lot of problems under its belt. Starting off, I don't see the actual purpose to this show existing other than to profit off the younger demographic that prefers loud, colorful shows like this, no wonder this show has been so god damn successful so far.
Next off, all of the characters have been reduced to a singular stereotype, while some characters may break out of character occasionally, they've all been reduced to those common stereotypes you'd find in a poorly managed show produced by Viacom. While I will admit that the animation is smooth and all, its been the same quality its been since the inception of the Total Drama Franchise. Also, did I mention how annoying the show's music is? the music is basically just sound effects of chanting toddlers making annoying sounds mixed with a beat, and I personally cannot stand it.
The show's humor also needs a lot of work, the humor is low-brow and juvenile to the highest possible degree, while I can admit that show sometimes makes a funny joke, it's usually rare and it only makes me let out a little chuckle.
Overall, I don't like Total Dramarama, and I don't really see it going anywhere far, even if the short-term success the show has had is pulling off, it's going to eventually backfire. I suggest skipping the show. (also how the hell did this already get greenlight a second season?)

I saw the first episode and my only question is why. Why is this a show? Why are they infants? Why do they know each other when there is tons of evidence that they only know each other because of a reality TV show? I give this a 6/10 because it was kind of funny, even though it makes ZERO SENSE WHATSOEVER!!!!! When they announced they were making a new season of Total Drama, this is not what I had envisioned. It might get better later is all I can hope for.

WHY WAS THIS MADE? They could have made something like a Total Drama Reunion, but instead we get THIS. AND WHERE IS HEATHER?, the rating will only go up if she's in it. But at the moment this is a disgrace to all Total drama Fans. LIKE THERES SO MANY MORE CHARACTERS THAT COULD BE PUT IN BUT NO. Horrific, just horrific. Im still trying to figure out why this show is still running...

Forget that that this is part of a franchise of TV programming and you need to watch this as it's own thing. One if a kind and unrelated to anything else. If you are like my kids who havnt seen the other shows then you can judge it with completely impartial views, with that being said they (and I) LOVE IT. As an adult/parent you can appreciate the little grown up jokes slipped in but the kids love the over the top characters of each child. We all have our favourite one lol. Plus you can watch each one without it needing to be in order of the series. (I'd recommend watching more than 2 before you make you're final judgement as this really does grow on you alot!!!! Lol

Yeah let's reboot this time the are episodes 11 minutes instead of 20 minutes like the original one,Really cartoon Network? This is lazy. Please don't waste your time with this nonsense.
When I heard there was gonna be a new season of Total Drama I was so excited and everyone else was to! I mean, the fanbase was growing back, speculation was everywhere, rumors were running wild. And then we get this? WHY?!
Then I thought, "Watch the first episode and see if you enjoy it." I watched the first episode and it SUCKED! Even All Stars was better! I want to know what going on inside the creators head.

Why does this show exist? I absolutely love TD, all the seasons. But not this garbage. Nothing here deserves to be here. TD fans will likely feel their intelligence actively being insulted.

I don't know what is up with Cartoon Network and ruining good shows, but it has to stop.
All spin-offs suck.

I like Total Drama (well not the later seasons) as well as its Ridonculous Race spinoff. Apparently, the original show as well as RR are cancelled forever because according to Tom McGillis, reality shows like TD are hard to market these days. Okay, that's not true.
In order for Fresh TV to fulfill Canadian content laws, they greenlit Total DramaRama, which is like those baby spin-off shows like A Pup Named Scooby Doo or Baby Looney Tunes. There's no real drama, and no challenges either.
I thought the idea was stupid, but I watched some episodes and honestly its not that bad. It's really funny, especially the episode with the chicken. The characters are all likable too. But they give too much screen-time to Owen, Izzy, Duncan, Courtney, and Jude. I'd like to see episodes about Bridgette, Cody, and Harold (especially since Harold is one of my favorite TD characters). Plus, the character designs are adorable.
The theme song is awful, but luckily it doesn't last long. I think if you imagine that this doesn't involve TD characters, you can enjoy it more since its more than your typical baby spinoff.

The way I see things, Total Dramarama is NOT bad now if you think about it. It's pretty good because it shows most of the contestants as little kids being supervised by Chef Hatchet & A character from another series known as "6teen". It's kind if nice to see Chef Hatchet retire from being a chef but becoming a Daycare provider. If I were to be a teacher & it was my student, I would give it a "B+" because of its progress. I like everything about this but I would like it better if they could've included Devon Joseph also known as "DJ" to the characters but made him be voiced by another actor & that he looks the same way that he did on "Total Drama Island", "Total Drama Action, "Total Drama World Tour" & "Total Drama:Revenge Of The Island" but the things different about him is that he is small like the others & does NOT have a beard. I also like how the young contestants do NOT hafta worry about Chris McClean's antics & him eliminating anybody or making them feel bad. Fresh TV, IF YOU ARE READING THIS REVIEW, IS IT ALRIGHT IF YOU WERE TO HAVE A SEASON 2, DJ COULD BECOME A NEW KID AT THE DAY CARE & THAT CHRIS McCLEAN COULD BE A RECURRING CHARACTER? I ALWAYS WANNA SEE THAT. I TRIED THIS SHOW IMMEDIATELY AFTER I WATCHED THE 4TH SEASON OF THE ORIGINAL SERIES & I HAFTA TELL YOU. IT WAS NOT PERFECT BUT IT STILL WAS LOTS OF FUN. THIS SHOULD BE THE TYPE OF SHOW THAT WOULD MAKE KIDS FEEL GOOD ABOUT. THE LITTLE KIDS IN THIS SHOW SURPRISING LOOK ADORABLE BUT I SLIGHTLY DON'T LIKE THEIR VOICES THOUGH.

Many people reviewing this newer Cartoon Network series, "Total Dramarama", don't seem to realize that this is actually not meant to be an addition or continuance to the television franchise "Total Drama", a show which I have not seen but which appears to be very popular considering the fair amount of attention it has received. It is set in an entirely different universe from the original series and only uses the characters to create a spinoff of that show, rather than continue the old show with where it left off. I myself don't consider this particular show the best thing on CN--so haters of this show will at least be pleased to see that--but admittedly, for someone who hasn't had it spoiled by seeing the original series, I find it quite entertaining.
Certainly "Total Dramarama" isn't a masterpiece; only TAWOG and TTG can equal that. But, considering shows like "Craig of the Creek", "Steven Universe", and other stuff that is out of my appreciation, it's a fairly fun series to watch. Set at a daycare where the main toddler characters are patrolled by a black guy called "Chef", the series' entertainment lies entirely in action and premise rather than witty dialogue, which is part of what makes Gumball the greatness that it is. The plots for each episode are normally little-kid stuff that's taken to the level where it becomes a big deal, until it actually begins to cause problems ("Respect the hat!"). May I note that one of the best things about the show is that the creators show no hesitation when it comes to stereotyping Chef. He can be strict at times, but also completely dimwitted other times--take for instance the fact he can't get his head around the fact the tomato is a fruit--and in general, he has to be the funniest character. The toddlers, who are the main characters spun-off from the teenage stereotypes in the original show, also deliver fun to the series and each episode is creative in how it takes little things to the level where everything is overblown.
I like this show, and just so long if you're not a huge fan of the original series I think you'll enjoy it. Not a masterpiece but definitely one of the more entertaining Cartoon Network shows on nowadays.

I was so excited to see a new Total Drama show. I loved the first one, and to see that years later there would be a new one on Cartoon Network, I couldn't wait! However, this was honestly just terrible. The humor in this show is just stupid, and not even in a funny sort of way. It lacks a proper storyline. The characters are so much worse in this reboot. I loved them all in Total Drama, but they're terrible in Total Dramarama. If you've watched Spongebob Squarepants, chances are you've noticed that the characters and the episodes just got worse in the newest seasons, and it doesn't feel the same way that the older seasons did. This is like that, just make it even worse. It genuinely feels as if this show was pushed onto TV just to create even the smallest amount of profit for Cartoon Network. I'm so upset, this could've been a great show but it just sucks.
