Maun

The movie, written by Arpan Thapa and directed by Suraj Bhusal and starring Arpan Thapa, Namrata Shrestha, Sekhar Chapagain, Rashmi Bhatta is a romantic drama movie. The best part is the casting and performance of the actors is much appreciable. Besides, screenplay and direction are pretty good. The story is simple yet amazing.

Maun follows a romantic drama between Aman (Arpan Thapa) and Barsha (Namrata Shrestha) who are in their middle twenties, both being deaf and mute. Aman is suffering from mental trauma, anxiety and is seeking peace from his nightmare. Both meet during a workshop about differently abled people and Barsha, unknown of his mental condition, tries to express her love. Aman is more of self centered introvert and takes him hard to understand her.

The story shows us the action and romance between the duo whilst Aman also seeking revenge against the man behind his disability and his nightmare. How will the story work out between the two? Who is the man from his nightmare? Will Aman get the revenge he soughts?
