There's an otherworldly feel to this fantasy of a Syrian refugee who is able to transport from an alley in Montreal to rough, moon-like north Nunavut. There she befriends Inuk girl of the same age as they discover the healing joy of shared friendship in difficult times.

Beautiful, natural performances from all, especially the leads Tia Bshara and Nuvvija Tulugarjuk. Together they portray realistic and relatable emotions unfettered by artifice. The adults are also lovingly portrayed, making this the ideal healing tincture for children and adults alike.
