I understand that its a low budget movie and it was made by few movie enthusiasts. Really appropriate the efforts. But guys if only you'd made the camera movement more bearable, it would have a lot better experience. Good luck on your next project.
Camera shake so irritating that watching a washing machine spinning is relaxing compare to this garbage... speaking of which the story line and acting wasn't great either... maybe 5/10, but camera have ruined it completely. Seriously how does that happen? Do they watch back what they make? I'm sure they do! How does anyone make a decision and say yeah this is perfect, this is what everyone will love. HOW?!
Seemed like a decent sci fi flick.
Nice props. Effects not too bad.
Camera works are the worst. Shaky as heck. Every sequence shakes... even when they are having conversation, the camera had to shake...
i feel like throwing up watching this film.
If the DP has parkinsons, please hire another.
Kill mode killed my appetite.
You will struggle to watch this unless you've taken your sea sick pills
The guy in charge of the tripods took the week off
It should come with a health warning

Who decided on the camera shake should be drawn and quartered and blacklisted. Horrible Horrible movie because of it. So bad I got about 1.2 way and just could bear no more.

Plastic performances, ridiculous storyline, terrible dialogue and hilariously bad costumes. Everything a low budget Sci-Fi movie needs this has. I just couldn't stop watching this trainwreck.

Okay. It's a low budget and I wouldn't even say anything about the general low quality IF ONLY THE CAMERA STOPPED MOVING A MINUTE.
Imagine getting drunk to the point you almost lose consciousness but you kinda, sorta still understand what is around you. That is the sensation you'll have for almost the full movie.
It could've been a fine action movie really.. sure. Without any kind of plot but I don't watch these for that usually..

This story had so much potential to be a thrilling, impactful and successful film. Due to story mishaps and way to much wasted footage on faked action & false dramatization this production squandered a good production. This product would not have even passed College level final exam quality. Disappointed in what could have been.
I have seen bad movies, this one takes the cake; horrible camera man-shaky through out the movie. B-rated acting. I would have given half a star, but no option.
Looks like these actors have no formal acting training.
Concept is great but not properly applied.
If James Cameron had the same concept, it would have had high rating.

As mentioned in other reviews this is a prequel to the brilliant low budget Molly.
If you haven't seen Molly then this may not make as much sense as it should.
I was hoping they would have tried for a bigger budget to get better visual effects such as the helicopters and explosions, even bullet impacts don't really cut it.
Most of the tech looks to be made from cardboard at times and this is really the only thing that lets it down.
As a story it is interesting, nothing really new, but it is a prequel and as mentioned earlier after watching Molly it's good to see her back story and this is what mainly kept me watching..
The acting does seem a bit wooden, is it Dutch actors struggling with English? Not sure.
Julia Batelaan carries the film though with a range of emotions well executed.
I'm looking forward to another instalment. Hopefully explaining the degeneration of what was left of civilisation and how Molly gets to the point in the original film.
If you're looking for a special effect laden, convoluted plot driven extravaganza then this isn't for you. It's simple story telling by a team who unfortunately didn't have enough money to do the film justice, but the story is engaging and I for one look forward to more. Definately worth a watch, but see Molly first.

Plot holes big enough to view an IMAX-movie through. Without spoilering anything, if that is possible in a movie like this, I can say that there are no surprises. It leans heavily on blender CGI and to be fair most is pretty decent. The animation though is rusty and unconvincing. The opening scene shows air-boats arriving at speeds so fast that the look out has not even gotten of off his ass and the enemy already air-dropped inside the complex....... These kinds of time-dilation-events happen all the time and time-dilation is not part of the plot. Many events and "cause and effect' elements don't seem to line up in any logical way. Like taking all the time in tyhe world to exit a building when being chased. People disappearing from the scene. Like guards that had all the time to' cut them off at the pass' just don't. The camera shakes are sometimes so heavy, even when the actors are not running, I thought I was getting a epileptic attack. The lighting is over the top saturated and lacks andy finesse. The acting isn't half bad though some weapons training would have been helpful. Shooting with one eye closed? It may have been a joke but that for sure would be the worst one. The list goes on.
But there is good stuff. The jokes are cringy dad-jokes but spot on. Loved the interaction between the characters. I watched the whole movie and it did not bore me one bit. It was entertaining and shows promise.

You feel a little optimistic at the beginning, because the introduction is about a "bacterium" that kills millions of people. In other words, not "a bacteria", since "bacteria" is plural. But oops - that's the last time you hear about a bacterium, because from then on it's a virus, not a bacterium. The Sickness kills 30 million people. There is some confusing plot development involving a girl named Molly, who winds up being quarantined by a rapacious company called The Company because she may be immune and thus deprive them of the mountains of moolah they're raking in selling a cure for the Sickness. I could go into a lot more detail, but the most important thing to know is that 61 minutes of this 97-minute movie are one long chase and fight scene, filmed with handheld cameras using drastically reduced shutter angles for that jerky look, and extremely quick cuts. It's eye-popping, and not in a pleasant way. I wouldn't show this flick to an epileptic.
So if what you're hankering for is to see a VERY long fight scene that bears more than an incidental resemblance to a computer-game fight, this is the film for you. For everyone else: Life is too short to waste time with this movie.

Storyline is usual not new. Presentation also average. Story plot is not large half of movie only based on fighting sequences till end that seems very long. It should have shorten to make an effect. Actors and actresses are some weird. Overall it is time pass watchable. Nothing new and could be skipped.

I'm not sure if they where going for a blair witch style movie here or something but the camera work is quite honestly the worst i have ever seen. I have recorded videos on my mobile phone, in my hand, that where more stable more consistently than this whole movie.
Story wise i can see a good concept in there.
Acting on the other hand was bad. Really bad. There was no emotion in really anything, every bit of dialog was as if you had asked a bored teenager a question, no emotions at all, disinterested. Just bad.
The weapons and fight scenes are bad. Like ok i get that it's low budget, but come on. Weapons appear to have lights for some reason, yet shoot ballistic projectiles, seeing a reload is rare, their melee weapons also have a light and a power source, why? I could not tell you, but this power source other than lighting the blade up appears to have absolutely no other effect, it does not increase cutting ability at all according to one scene it generates some heat i guess? But when this powered system fails it turns the weapon into a large magnet causing the wielder to be unable to move without being pulled to the nearest magnetic surface, leaving them so exposed it's almost comical.
This could have been a decent low budget film, they simply needed better camera work. Like substantially better.. Of all the flaws this movie contains that camera work is the worst by a substantial margin.
And by having better more involved? Interested? Actors.
But if you had to pick better camera work or better actors, hands down get the better camera work. The rest is forgivable but god damn that camera work was bad. My 2 year old records more stable videos when she steals my phone...

Seemed like an good action movie with inhuman abilities so i bought it on iTunes NOT WORTH 7$. It was difficult to watch my eyes hurt for real...! And the fighting scenes were way to long and nothing really happened. And the special effect were not so good either. Just a bad movie, it was obvious that it was budget film.

Let's preface this with a cheese warning.
I was expecting an Amazon Prime trash fire. I got a rather well done low budget sci-fi film. Stupid bro who said is was a train wreck is just mad he couldn't produce anything better. For real, though, can everyone stop using shaky action cam 24/7? DP was still better than a Bey film. Some of the choreography could use some tightening up but that second to last sword fight was better than most SW saber battles.
Overall this crew deserves some credit for their work

This could have been a reasonable story if it were not for the camera work, it contained some reasonable special effects but the jumping around of the camera was just way to much to make it watchable and thus you could not get into the story ( what there was of it )
Use gimbals and a camera dolly for better results.

I absolutely love that the company man has the word 'COMPANY.' on his suit lapel because he works for 'Company.'. It doesn't get more generic than that and it goes all the way down in this movie, characters, plot, sets, soundtrack, action staging, lens flare, even a few Dutch angles, the lot. The production values are OK but everyone is right-the shakycam is ridiculous. In other words it's strictly by the numbers.

This is not a real review, it should be understood more as a collection of impressions on the film.
Let's start by saying that the cover of this film is really very beautiful and gives the impression of a big film, then you read the plot and think ok it could be a banal but still acceptable science fiction film and finally you watch this film to simply discover that it is in in reality a horrible Z-series movie with horrible special effects and acting that always seems like they're reluctantly reading a text they don't like. So the film is worth watching if you want to laugh for the wrong reasons and complain because even a trained gorilla would have been better at acting. In conclusion therefore the film is a useless waste of time and I say, if you don't have money to make this kind of film and to pay good actors then why do you persist in making them.
