The trip of the day is Dunkirk, as Green and his co-driver Squeaky Dave prepare to take a group of pensioners to visit the war graves in France. But what should be an ordinary day is turned upside down when the docile town of Bognor is confronted with two unexpected arrivals.

Disturbed by the events of the previous night Peter gets up early to take a church group to a donkey sanctuary. Seeing the woman from the night before being harassed he makes a rash decision. Kayla endures her first day at the Snack Shack.

Kayla is not impressed at having to look after their new house-guest. Peter is told it is not safe for his mother to live alone. He realises he has put his family at risk when the strangers come looking for their property.

Peter and Kayla leave Rita home alone, and she ventures into town to get her phone fixed. Peter takes a group of Japanese tourists to Hampton Court, but the trip ends disastrously.

Attempting to escape their pursuers, Peter brings his whole family along when he does a day-trip to a Model Village. Squeaky makes a surprise appearance, and Peter makes a decision.

Peter has to do a school trip, Kayla considers leaving home, Brad conducts his first funeral. Joy is pleased to have some company now that Rita and Barry are living with her.
