Poor acting, accents that are all wrong, and a setting that looks absolutely nothing like Halifax.

As noted in other reviews, inconsistent accents not characteristic of NS or even the maritimes - with a few stereotypical "abooots" thrown in at random. The setting is clearly not in Halifax ( a large urban center), nor does it resemble much of the surrounding area
Even ignoring the accents, the acting was awful, and the plot was a mess, the characters two-dimensional.
And to add insult to injury, the film ends with playing the Canadian national anthem over the film credits. (That's not a standing ovation, folks. That's standing for the anthem)
