What is the truth behind Kamie Crawford exiting MTV’s hit reality series, Catfish? She has been the co-host for six seasons, replacing Max Joseph. Fans have been extremely receptive to her and love the banter she has with Nev Schulman. So, what really made her opt to abruptly leave the show? Keep reading for more details.
Kamie Crawford Spills The Tea On Leaving Catfish
A short time back, Kamie Crawford posted an announcement that she was leaving Catfish after six years. She shared she was moving on to her “next adventure.” There were other projects in the works and, essentially, Kamie had achieved all she had wanted to on the MTV series. Fans started to speculate that it had something to do with creator, Nev Schulman. Did they disagree politically and that caused a falling out? Another telltale sign that there was trouble in paradise was when Nev was in a horrific bike accident.

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, October 24, point to Daniel’s inability to stand it anymore. He needs to prove who killed Heather — and that it wasn’t him. But, just like it’s darkest before dawn and Daniel’s lowest point, it’s a cricket to the rescue!
A Woman’s Work Is Never Done
Danny (Michael Damian) is very, very worried about his son. But his music isn’t going to tour itself, is it? Sure, the boy he dedicated his life to raising — even when he knew Daniel (Michael Graziadei) wasn’t biologically his — has just lost his life partner, and Danny’s granddaughter, Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant), has lost her mom, but…singing! Europe! Money! The show must go on and all that.
But Danny isn’t completely ignoring Daniel. He video-called him. Then he sent Christine (Lauralee Bell — who challenged the Y&r cast) to him.

It looks like she’s not as determined to help her husband anymore. While it was earlier reported that Melania Trump wanted to hit the campaign trail running to help her husband win the presidential campaign this year, it looks like she might have just changed her mind.
Melania Trump Just Changed Her Plans
In fact, it’s probably the fact that Trump has been found guilty on all 34 counts of his hush money trial that has made Melania change her mind about wanting to help her husband in his bid for the White House this year. For Melania, she just doesn’t want to humiliate herself anymore than she has to.
The entire world now knows that she hasn’t slept in the same bedroom with her husband since the very beginning of her marriage thanks to Stormy Daniels. If that weren’t enough, the entire world also knows...

Macaulay Culkin, the actor who reached extraordinary heights of fame and success with his tremendous portrayal of the genius Kevin McCallister in his version of the Home Alone saga, actually shared a rather peculiar relationship with Michael Jackson in the eyes of the public. That being said, most fans may not know that this friendship actually started with a phone call.

As Culkin himself admitted it, the pair probably wouldn’t have shared the kind of close relationship they did had it not been for one “weird, random” call that the child actor received from the now-deceased King of Pop. And, although this may sound similar to the rumors surrounding Jackson’s alleged abuse of youngsters, that’s hardly the case, and Culkin stands as a witness to this claim.

Yesterday was a big day for fans of the upcoming ‘Dcu,’ as we’ve gotten a first look at Corenswet’s Superman suit. In the photo, Superman can be seen putting on his bright red boots, with imagery in the background being a nod to an alien attack in the sky.
The costume was met with mixed reviews with several notable complaints, most of them being completely unfounded and had more to do with part of the fandom being unwilling to say goodbye to Snyderverse.
The suit was most often called out for being a downgrade when compared to the suit Cavill wore. Fans often point out that it doesn’t look like advanced civilization made it.

The tales of Heath Ledger’s dedication to the role of The Joker in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight have been shocking the world even though the film was released twelve years ago. The actor famously gave the role his all, locking himself in a room for days, journaling as the Clown of Gotham City, and even begging Christian Bale to beat him up for real.
Heath Ledger as Joker
It is safe to say that the actor gave and earned many scars after playing the role of this iconic character. Even though the methods he used to play the character were extreme, it would seem that there was nothing he would not have done for his perfect performance.

The Indian Celebs Making Their Mark As Beauty Brand Ambassadors(Photo Credit –PR)
Thanks to the rising cost of living and soaring inflation, more of us are looking to tighten our belts when it comes to unnecessary spending. However, one sector that’s weathering the storm rather well is the health and beauty sector. In 2023, India’s cosmetics market was worth an estimated 2.32 billion rupees. In 2024, Indian consumers are forecast to spend more disposable income on beauty and cosmetics than ever before. Global brands are taking note of the enthusiastic spending power of the subcontinent.
Why Are More Beauty Brands Recruiting Indian Brand Ambassadors?
No longer an emerging market, Indian consumers have become a key demographic for established names in the cosmetics sector. From budget-friendly brands like CeraVe to familiar favourites like L’Oréal, beauty and cosmetic stalwarts are making waves in India. Unsurprisingly, this has led to more companies turning...

Don 3: Emraan Hashmi and Ranveer Singh(Photo Credit –Instagram)
Ever since Ranveer Singh replaced Shah Rukh Khan in Don 3, fans of the franchise have been eager to know any updates. The Farhan Akhtar directorial has grabbed eyeballs since the change in the casting decision. After all, Srk played Don with such charm and style, and only some were ready for the change. But we all know that Farhan is an incredible director, and Ranveer is a versatile actor.
Don is an anti-hero character and has a lot of enemies. Do you remember how Boman Irani fooled every one in the first movie starring Srk? Well, the audience wants that kind of intelligent villain to trick them. Recently, there were rumours that Emraan Hashmi will play the main villain in Farhan’s directorial. The Showtime actor has now reacted to the same.

Considering the ignorant comments we read throughout the web (to say the least) after the release of “Monster”, we decided to take a vote regarding the ranking of the movies of the Japanese, in order to come up with an informed ‘top 16'. The only condition was for the people who vote to have watched at least 10 films by the director, which resulted in the following Amp members voting: Panos Kotzathanasis, Rouven Linnarz, Andrew Thayne, Tobiasz Dunin, Sean Barry, Adriana Rosati and Lukasz Mankowski. The result, which includes his 16 fiction features but not his documentaries, is as follows.
16. Distance (2001)
Koreeda directs a film filled with subtle melancholy, as he tries to present the reasons people join cults and commit horrendous attacks. Through flashbacks and dialogue, he depicts the alienation and emotional isolation the perpetrators had from their families as they succumbed to the cult's dogma. However, his efforts do not prove very fruitful,...

Skye Borgman’s deep dive into an unsolved serial killer’s crimes unearths a whole family tree of pain, pathos, and progress.
“A cold case is no substitute for a warm life.”
True crime documentaries and serial killer investigations have become the latest cash cow for streaming services. Dozens of these slickly-packaged products flood streamers as they elicit shock and awe through sensationalized storytelling. That’s not to say that all of these serial killer docu-series are disposable, but there’s definitely a right and wrong way to engage in these investigative narratives. The Truth About Jim benefits from its accomplished director, Skye Borgman, who’s responsible for the gripping true crime documentary, Abducted in Plain Sight, which unpacks the complicated tale of the Broberg family, as well as Netflix’s Unsolved Mysteries revival. Your Guide to Witty and Funny ‘Spy x Family’ Characters (Photo Credit – IMDb)
Cold wars and espionage stories have never been as funny as those in Wit Studio’s hit anime “Spy x Family.” But it’s not the action or the politics that makes this anime stand out; it’s the absolute comical sequences that follow a found family of spies, assassins, and mind-readers trying to convince everyone around them that they are as accurate as the next white-picket-fence household.
“Spy x Family” is an action comedy manga released in 2019 and adapted into an anime in 2022, instantly becoming a global hit. It’s set in Ostania, a fictional war-torn country that recently got out of an all-out conflict with its neighbors, Westalis. Both nations are standing on thin ice and cannot afford another war, yet the tensions between them are at an all-time high. So, Westalis sends in their best agent,...

The most controversial movement within country music might be bro-country. Jason Aldean was asked what he thinks of being classified as a bro-country artist. Aldean also discussed his favorite songs to play live.
Jason Aldean thinks ‘bro-country’ is a ‘backhanded’ label
Florida Georgia Line became one of the most influential country acts of the 2010s. They introduced a new subgenre called “bro-country.” Bro-country combined country pop with some of the instrumentation from hip-hop and rock. What makes bro-country really stand out, however, is its lyrics. Bro-country songs are known for their masculinity, focusing on topics like partying, trucks, beer, and sexy women.
The genre was as controversial as it was popular. While many listeners often enjoyed bro-country’s upbeat rhythms, journalists often decried the style as sexist, lowbrow, and repetitive. Critics also said the style took up too much space on country radio, making it difficult for female singers to get a foothold there.

Every year when the Oscar shortlisted shorts are announced, there are inevitable disappointments for those projects which have enjoyed festival success and yet just missed out on the big time. Oscar voters don’t always make the right choices, and as every viewer’s tastes differ it can be worth checking out those that came close. This year, one of them is Tamara Denic’s Istina (which translates roughly as ‘Truth’), the story of a Serbian photojournalist whose work documenting protests by people hostile to the mainstream media exposes her to significant personal risk. Anxious to protect her young daughter, she relocates to Germany, but even there, she may not be safe from international networks of conspiracy theorists.
This director was recently joined by producer Christia Siée and stars Nika Rozman and Milica Vuksanovic for a discussion about the film.

Who is the real monster when the truth comes out?
Hirokazu Kore-eda’s “Monster” marks the director’s return to films set in Japan for the first time since winning the Palme d’Or for 2018 film “Shoplifters.” Kore-eda went on to helm “The Truth” and “Broker,” set in France and South Korea, respectively. “Monster” is also the first film Kore-eda has directed from another script since 1995’s “Maboroshi.” The “Monster” screenplay, written by Yuji Sakamoto, went on to win the Best Screenplay prize at Cannes 2023.
The official synopsis reads: When her young son Minato (Soya Kurokawa) starts to behave strangely, his mother (Sakura Ando) feels that there is something wrong. Discovering that a teacher (Eita Nagayama) is responsible, she storms into the school demanding to know what’s going on. In gearing up for today’s 30th anniversary of “The X-Files” premiere, which debuted back on September 10, 1993, I recently re-watched the series finale, titled “The Truth.” Yes, I know Fox’s sci-fi show later spawned two revival seasons in 2016 and 2018, but I’m still calling this episode, which aired on May 19, 2002, the official series finale. When “The Truth” originally aired, fans and critics alike were decidedly mixed on the two-part ender written and directed by series creator Chris Carter. But 21 years later, I can safely say that it’s better than you remember.

[Editor’s note: The following interview was conducted before the SAG-AFTRA strike began on July 14, 2023.]
The following interview has been edited and condensed for clarity.
Juliette Binoche has made her career out of playing characters who are independent, searching, unsatisfied, restless. From playing Czech protest photographer Tereza in her breakout movie, the Philip Kaufman erotic classic “The Unbearable Lightness of Being,” to playing a composer’s wife left grieving and with his baggage in Krzysztof Kieślowski’s “Three Colors: Blue,” the Academy Award-winning French actress plays women pulling themselves through confusing situations, political intrigue, and perverse romantic entanglements. Often at once.
Her body of work eschews a pat introduction, but the Quad Cinema in New York has put together a syllabus of sorts with “Beautiful Binoche,” a series of films running from August 4-10 in the lead-up to next week’s release of her new film “Between Two Worlds”, about a famous author who goes undercover as a cleaning lady to investigate the exploitation of...

To date, Greta Gerwig has directed three films she has also written or co-written. Each has a monologue, a scene, or a sentiment that lays out, in plain, often hard language, that being a woman is difficult in the modern world. To cite Gerwig's "Little Women," Jo (Saoirse Ronan) bemoans the fact that women are often seen as mere receptacles for love when they are, in fact, so much more. The trend continued with Gerwig's latest film "Barbie," based on the Mattel toy and currently raking in hundreds of millions of dollars at the box office. "Barbie" is an Adam & Eve story wherein Barbie (Margot Robbie) travels from the safe,...

Julia, Augustus’s daughter, goes into labor, and unfortunately, she gives birth to a stillborn baby. Child mortality had to have been high in that era, because mothers could have suffered from many issues that hadn’t even been discovered yet. Justine Triet’s “Anatomy of a Fall,” one of the best reviewed films of the Cannes competition, which was bought by Neon, examines the collapse of a marriage and a mother-and-son relationship in a documentary-style courtroom drama. The chamber piece is driven by Sandra Hüller’s (“Toni Erdmann”) nuanced performance as a successful German novelist on trial for the murder of her husband (Samuel Theis), who died in mysterious circumstances in a remote corner of the snowy French Alps. Their visually impaired 11-year-old son (Milo Machado Graner) is called on the witness stand, prompting a dissection of Sandra’s conduct as a wife and a mother. Supporting roles are played by Swann Arlaud and Antoine Reinartz.
“Anatomy of a Fall” marks a departure in terms of genre and tone for Triet, though she co-wrote it with Arthur Harari, with whom she co-wrote her previous three movies, “La bataille de Solferino,...

Two Japanese films by internationally renowned auteurs — “Monster” by Koreeda Hirokazu and “Kubi” by Kitano Takeshi — are in the Cannes lineup this year, and both carry with them big box office expectations in Japan.
“Monster,” which is screening in competition, will be released on June 2 by Gaga and Toho, the latter Japan’s largest distributor and theater chain operator. Koreeda’s two previous films — “The Truth” (2019), shot in France, and “Broker” (2022), filmed South Korea — were both box office disappointments in his home market. “Monster,” however, promises a return to the earnings form of his 2018 Palme d’Or winner “Shoplifters,” whose $34 million cumulative total was the fourth-highest among Japanese releases that year.
One reason: The screenplay is by Sakamoto Yuji, a veteran writer of hit TV dramas and films, including the 2021 smash romantic drama “We Made a Beautiful Bouquet.” The story of “Monster,” about a quarrel between elementary school children...

In film after film, from “Nobody Knows” to “Shoplifters,” Japanese master Kore-eda Hirokazu has proven himself to be among the medium’s most humanistic directors, inclined to see the best in people, especially children. So how to reconcile the way “Monster” makes us feel?
Returning to his native Japan after helming two relatively disappointing features abroad (“Broker” and “The Truth”), the 2018 Palme d’Or winner opens his latest Cannes competition entry with a building on fire — a “hostess bar” where lonely men seek female company — and fifth-grade Minato (Kurokawa Soya) watching the inferno from a nearby balcony. Kore-eda will return to this scene three times over the course of the film, folding the narrative back upon itself from a different angle each time, before finally revealing who set the blaze.
The title misleads for a time, inviting us to speculate about the darkness that surrounds young Minato. Could a child have been the culprit?...
