Plot
Two artists move into a studio where gruesome murders recently took place. One hatches a plan to create a hoax based on the murders, creating fake paranormal activity to broadcast on social media. But just as his hoax begins to take shape, so does the real entity living with them in the studio.
Cast
Apparently these folks have been in plenty, sadly nothing I'm familiar with
Verdict
A young couple move into an apartment where a horrifying double murder had occured. She's an artist while he runs a Youtube channel and decides to exploit the places history by hoaxing a paranormal event. The longer they're there however the more it becomes apparent that a hoaxing isn't even required.
The Hoaxing manages to be really quite creepy, on top of that it's stylish, well made and our small cast do a competent enough job. Sadly at no point do they pull the trigger, the whole thing is build up! It's all foreplay and then no action.
I'd say to the creators that they have talent and there is certainly something there, but maybe next time provide us with a payoff and not leave us with metaphorical blue balls.
Breakdown + Solid cast + Creepy in places
Rants
Would you live in a property with a dark and murder filled history? If your answer is no I beg the question, why? What difference does it make? There is a good probability you'll get a discount and it will have absolutely no bearing on the property! If your reasoning is the potential haunting then *Slaps you round the face* grow up! There is no such thing as a ghost, demon or anything in-between, how do I know? Because I'm an adult with a fully functional brain.

The basic virtue of film is to remind. Old horror movies, the experiment of artists becoming something more risky, the warning and the expected end. Good in each aspect, it is just correct. But far to be remarkable or to give the desired twist , out of the iron rules of genre, innovative of ...scary.
