In Japan, the name Hinamatsuri comes from a Holiday which can be translated as Girl's Day.
Based on a comedy seinen manga series written and illustrated by Masao Otake. It was serialized in Enterbrain's magazine Harta, formerly known as Fellows!, from June 2010 to July 2020. Its chapters were collected in 19 tankobon volumes.
